Tues. Sept. 18 – Jamboree #1

The Huron Boys Cross Country team finished in 3^rd place with 64 points, just 4 points behind Grosse Ile, at the Huron League Jamboree #1. Ayden Roupe 5^th (18:22.3), Adam Mentzer 8^th (18:27.2) and Drew Bean 10^th (18:42.8) all placed in the 10 top ten. Out of 109 runners Gabe Welch finished in 17^th (19:03.7), Brenda Gyolai 24^th (19:39.5), Austin Fritz 29^th (19:49.7), Sean Morris 31^st (20:00.5), Grant Wilkinson 37^th (20:28.3), Remy Emelian 38^th (20:29.2), Domenic DiMambro 47^th (20:54.1), Edison Carlile 53^rd (21:20.6), Nathan Holder 55^th (21:30.7), Keegan Ehrman 57^th (21:38.2), Lawrence Stanley 61^st (21:47.7), Owen Lazenby 65^th (22:01.8), Kyle Murney 69^th (22:12.4), Kyle Meeker 70^th (22:14.8), Caleb Ferguson 71^st (22:14.8), Antonio Chambers 79^th (23:04.8), Ayden Mendez 80^th (23:05.1), Miles Fichtner 83^rd (23:25.0), Erie Thomas 85^th (23:30.1), Lake Warden 91^st (24:03.0), Kaden Tenaglia 100^th (25:23.8),  Jacob Merideth 101^st (25:25.7), Jamison Gambino 103^rd (25:38.8), Jacob Lerette (16:19* 2 mile time).

The Huron Girls were able to move up a place from last year’s Jamboree #1 finish to take 6^th place with 148 points, despite missing five of their runners. Out of 72 runners Olivia Randles placed 28^th (24:05.9), Abby Biundo 29^th (24:07.1), Ashley Christesen 32^nd (24:11.3), Jordan Roberts 41^st (25:47.3), Chelsea Emond 52^nd (27:05.8), Kyndy Bennett 53^rd (27:09.0), Caitlin Roupe 58^th (27:32.0), Miranda Marek 67^th (29:13.5).
