Huron Chiefs Varsity Takes 5-2 Victory Over Allen Park HS
- Huron Chiefs Varsity wins contest against Allen Park HS, 5-2
- In the second inning, Huron Chiefs Varsity got their offense started. Caroline Polites doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
- Huron Chiefs Varsity notched four runs in the third inning. Huron Chiefs Varsity scored its runs on a grand slam by Anna Atherton.
- Gracie Brinkerhoff led the Huron Chiefs Varsity to victory in the pitcher's circle. She lasted seven innings, allowing four hits and two runs while striking out three.
- S Uhlenberg took the loss for Allen Park HS. She went seven innings, allowing five runs on eight hits, striking out three and walking one.
- Huron Chiefs Varsity launched one home run on the day. Atherton put one out in the third inning.

It was a huge at bat by Anna Atherton. Bases loaded against an undefeated team, Anna went yard. A Grand Slam Homerun over the left center field fence. She just smashed it. From the get go you knew it was leaving the park. That is a huge at bat for her. She is extremely capable of bringing power to our lineup and she has remained consistent all year.
Gracie Brinkerhoff pitched lights out this game. She hit her spots well and did a great job with her speed and control. She Is coming along nicely and putting the team on her shoulders when she needs to. The defense made some huge plays behind her to keep them at 1 run.
