• Camille Gray was brilliant in the circle on Monday, as she threw a no-hitter to lead Huron Chiefs Varsity past Grosse Ile 15-0.
• Huron Chiefs Varsity opened up scoring in the first inning, when an error scored one run for Huron Chiefs Varsity.
• Huron Chiefs Varsity put up six runs in the sixth inning. Huron Chiefs Varsity put the pressure on, lead by singles by Faith Callahan and Chelsea Hamilton, a fielder's choice by Lexi Thomas, and an error on a ball put in play by Maria Vella.
• Gray earned the victory in the pitcher's circle for Huron Chiefs Varsity. She lasted six innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out 14 and walking zero.
• Krueger took the loss for Grosse Ile. She surrendered 15 runs on 13 hits over six innings, striking out nine.

"Today was a solid performance by all. Camille Gray really set the tone and never let up. She threw a no hitter and was one pitch away from a perfect game. Her velocity is coming back, and her ability to hit locations is really dialing in. When you have a pitching performance like that, if you can get a couple runs through, usually your results will end up in your favor, thankfully we were able  have a great day in the box.
