"A game like this its hard to feel GREAT about. It was a very good game played through 5 and a half innings and then a really rough one through, about 1.5. Im very pleased with their grit in the last inning. Airport opened the door a little and we put pressure back on them by putting the ball in play. Melanie Coak and Erin Bressler stepped up with their bats, Lexi Thomas had a huge bunt that moved the runner into scoring position. That allowed us to tie it back up. Bressler has been struggling late but stepped in and got ahold of it, burning their Left Fielder scoring Coak. Camile Gray, had another outstanding pitching performance with 14K. She is really turning a corner for us. Defensively we just have to complete games. Mentally, we still are young. I see a lot of growth in moments, so I feel really good about where we are heading. Just have to continue to chip away everyday. This was a big win. A much needed win."
