Huron started off the 2024 Campaign with a trip over to Div 1 Lincoln Park on Friday the 16th.  Despite only having one practice the day before, the super talented Chiefs put on a dominating performance.  Ian Petrick walked away with 3 goals and 2 assists while defensive playmaker Johann Vasquez added 2 goals.  Senior Captain Noah Manthei, junior Mason Jasinki and Junior Jordan Stasak controlled the pitch from the back and rarely allowed L.P. into the Huron half.  Senior Captains Roman Pritt and Aidan Dolencic distributed from the middle tallying a goal and an assist while combining with Junior Mason Thomas sophomore Matthew Hussey and junior Shayne Diegel.  Junior Ian Ankenbauer, the new face of Huron goalkeeping, was exciting to watch between the pipes as he begins what will be known as the Ankenbauer era.  Sophomore Marton Krajcz netted a goal along side Petrick and Senior Jordan Choryan had some attempts up front as well.  Huron will be back in action against Div 1 Allen Park on Monday 8/18 at Allen Park
