GARDEN CITY HIGH SCHOOL: 0
One day after being consumed by the Devil’s fire, the mighty Chiefs resurrected and trampled the Cougars’ Garden. Sal Marchionda scored first from Bridgett’s son, Owen Barnes. Barnes, scored second from fellow sophomore Ashton Messina and sent the game into half up 2-0. Like rabbits ravaging for carrots, the Chiefs ran, trampled, jumped, and scurried throughout the second half. Dominating performances from Mackennon Dolencic and Brendan Pasut in the back led way for outstanding work in the middle by birthday boy, Alex Davenport, Sam Hughes, and Ricky Emelian. Marchionda added another from Brendan Robbins to finish 3-0 on the night.
