One day after playing a very routine, laid back, lack luster performance, the class of “2019” decided to take over. From back to front, goal keeper Nick Pasut, center back Chad Sturgill,center midfield Vinny Gonzalez, center forward Ryan Toth, and honorary captains center back Adam Brenner, and Center forward Robby Oaks. Possibly,  their sense of urgency came from weeks of sub-par performances or the fact that as seniors their time is running out.  Whatever it was, they played hard and fast.  Ryan Toth scored first followed by himself when Junior Sal Marchionda blasted the cross bar and Toth cleaned up the rebound.  Up 2-0 at half the Chiefs decided to play with only eight on the field to get the pace moving quicker.  Sophomore Remy Emelian, Juniors Travis Russell and Sam Hughes, along with freshman Alex Davenport joined Sturgill, Brenner, Gonzalez, and Toth for an eight man combination that was playing at top speed. Brenner then assisted Toth for his 3rd of the night.  Brendan Robbins came in for Hughes and attacked down the middle laying the ball off for Toth to score his 4th just before Oaks assisted Toth for his 5th. 5 goals on the night for captain Ryan Toth who is sibling to Sydney Toth, class of 2015, and former lady Chieftain record goal scorer.  Gonzalez decided to get on the score board with one of his own bringing the tally to 6-0.
