League Meet 5/24/22

Huron Boys Track finished in third place at the Huron League Meet with 123 points, earning All-League honors in seven events. Antonio Talley was our team MVP, earning 1st Team All-League honors in all four of his events with his first-place finishes in the 100M dash (11.26), 200M dash (22.98), 400M dash (51.63), and 4x400M relay (3:34.10) with teammates Ryan Anderson, Evan Town, and Miles Fichtner. Miles Fichtner earned two more league honors placing first in the 300M hurdles (41.31, 1st Team) and second in the 110M hurdles (15.46, 2nd Team). Our 4x100M Relay (Isaac Smith, Gabe Anthony, Xander Scannell, Caleb Henninger 44.36) finished at the top of the league with 1st Team All-League honors as well. Huron’s other two relays placed 3rd overall: 3200M Relay-Morris, Kuhn, Slane, Mentzer & 4x200M Relay- Anderson, Town, Anthony, Henninger. Additionally, there were three more individuals scoring in the top three with Caleb Henninger in the 100M dash, Griffin Mentzer in the 1600M run, and Gabe Anthony in the long jump, all finishing out in third. Altogether the Chiefs brought home 13 All-League medals.
