SOUTH LYON EAST HIGH SCHOOL: 76
South Lyon East broke open a close game at halftime by outscoring Huron 37-18 in the second half and went on to beat the Chiefs 78-56. Huron got out to a great start by scoring 23 points in the opening quarter but poor transition defense, bad free throw shooting and 22 costly turnovers turned the game in favor to South Lyon East. Austin Wyszynski led the Chiefs with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Huron's next game is Tuesday night at home against Carlson. Sean Friday scored 9 points in a 49-44 Junior Varsity loss and Cole Grunwald scored 26 points including a game winning 3 pointer as the Huron Freshmen team won 63-61.
