The Huron Boys Cross Country Team maximized the hardware they earned at the Airport Invitational. The team placed 1^st out of 9 teams with 45 points, taking home the Airport XC Championship trophy along with seven medals for all the varsity runners. Adam Mentzer placed 5^th (18:02.1) out of 58, Gabe Welch 7^th (18:13.5), Ayden Roupe 8^th (18:18.6), Drew Bean 9^th (18:19.5), Brendan Gyolai 16^th (18:49.4), Sean Morris 18^th (18:55.2), Austin Fritz 20^th (19:03.9).

The JV team also placed 1^st with 24 points. Domenic DiMambro, for the second time this week, dominated the JV field taking 1^st place (19:22.2) and a medal. Other runners placing in the top ten earning medals were: Remy Emelian 4^th (19:49.2), Lake Warden 6^th (20:03.8), Kyle Meeker 7^th (20:13.1) and Owen Lazenby 10^th (20:18.4). Lawrence Stanley 12^th (20:27.5), Erie Thomas 13^th (20:36.3 PR), Edison Carlile 15^th (21:00.1), Kyle Murney 16^th (21:00.5), Nathan Holder 20^th (21:25.1), Miles Fichtner 27^th (21:55.1), Keegan Ehrman 27^th (22:07.7), Antonio Chamber 30^th (22:30.0), Caleb Ferguson 34^th (22:49.2), Kaden Tenaglia 35^th (22:57.7), Jamison Gambino 30^th (23:21.3), Jacob Lerette 39^th (23:27.0), Ben Oaks 40^th (23:38.2), Jack Doxey 41^st (23:44.5), Charlie Hoke 44^th (28:27.1), Tyler Doss 45^th (31:32.7).

The Huron Girls Cross Country team earned four medals and placed 5^th with 114 points. In the varsity race, Natalie Marek placed 9^th (21:08.0), Abbey Biundo 14^th (21:27.3) and Ashley Christesen 18^th (22:09.7) all earning medals for their top 25 finish. Ellie Fichtner finished 31^st (23:17.3), Miranda Marek 42^nd (24:52.7), Julia Wilkinson 44^th (25:09.0), Nevada Castillo 46^th (25:38.5).

In the JV race, Kyndy Bennett placed 9^th (24:43.7) earning a medal amongst the top 10. Caitlin Roupe 11^th (25:18.2) and Emily Saksewski 27^th (30:06.4).
