Huron Chiefs Defeats Flat Rock Despite Allowing 3-Run Inning
Huron claimed a 6-4 victory on Monday, despite a big push by Flat Rock in the fifth inning. The offensive fire power by Flat Rock was led by number #27 Simons and #3 Kopp, who each had RBIs in the inning.
The Chiefs got on the board in the first inning. Huron scored two runs when Brent Wright singled.
Vincent Wroblewski was the winning pitcher for Huron. He surrendered four runs on six hits over seven innings, striking out four and walking one.
The Chiefs scattered eight hits in the game. Brett McKay, Carlos Beltran, and Wright all managed multiple hits for Huron.
Flat Rock collected six hits. Godfrey #8 and Moore #16 each managed multiple hits for Flat Rock.
