The Chiefs boys golf team traveled to Lilac today to take on the Huron League in the League Jamboree. Schools in attendance included Flat Rock, Grosse Ile, Riverview, Jefferson, SMCC, and Airport. Grosse Ile finished first with a score of 314, followed by Jefferson with a 347. The Chiefs rounded out the top three with a 367 tiebreaker win over SMCC. The Chiefs were led by senior Matt Kosiba with a 78. Other scores for the Chiefs included Jordan Comilla 84, Seth Eastridge 98, Nick Burcroff 107, Austin Myers 117, Remy Emilian 119. The Chiefs started four rookies in this match and they did well for first timers.
Grosse Ile's Jack Carter was Medalist with a 72.
Other team scores include SMCC 367, Flat Rock 380, Airport 385, Riverview 397.
The next match for the Chiefs is scheduled for 4/18/18 at Pineview vs Milan.
