Boys Varsity Soccer

Ricky Emelian started the scoring when Ashton Messina slotted him a pass. Brendan Pasut scored minutes later from Emelian just before Tyler Toth scored from an Alex Davenport pass. Huron was moving the ball with intent to create optimum opportunities and that is what happened. Davenport jumped on the scoring wagon when Remy Emelian found Davenport’s feet and he tucked it away. Noah Kilmark and Nhat Vu worked continuously in the middle creating movement that caused Shane Gill to find Andrew Traster for goal 5. Goal 6 was scored by Gill from Emelian to send the game into halftime 6-0 Chiefs. Second half action resembled more of a freshmen volleyball game with players being subbed in and rotated around the pitch. Drew Slane scored his first varsity goal by carving up the middle. Griffin Cholette had just carved up the middle like he was dancing barefoot on hot coals and got the crowd to ooh and ahh like it was the Fourth of July. Cody Brenner felt that Cholette “energy” and decided to smash a left footed goal from a Traster pass to end the game early.
