SAM HUGHES CONTINUES HURONS DOMINANCE AS SINGLES CHAMPS...

Huron boys continued to dominate the singles portion as they have 4 bowlers qualify for match play. The 4 qualifiers were freshman Logan Wyszynski (2nd place) Sam Hughes  (5th place) Austin Wyszynski (5th place) and Joey Devita ( 11th place) . Austin Wyszynski also had the highest game of the tournament with an impressive 267 game.  Number 2 seed L. Wyszynski advanced with a 436-358 win,number 6th seed A. Wyszynski defeated teammate and number 11th seed  Devita 342-293 and number 5 seed Hughes easily won 448-341. As freshman Logan Wyszynski continued to impress with him 390-331 win in the quarterfinals. Austin Wyszynski  ran out of gas in in the quarterfinals 293-342 while Hughes won 372-314. In the semi - finals Logan Wyszynski lost to the eventual runner up 438-356 while Hughes easily won 430-367 to reach the finals. Sam Hughes made clutch shot after shot to defeat Andy Jarvis of Milan 367-348 to take home the title. It is Hurons 2nd consecutive boys single title as Drake Bazzy brought home the belt last year.
